Oriana Singers invite you to our last concert of our 2024/2025 season. We are joining forces with Autorickshaw – Suba Sankaran, Dylan Bell and Ed Hanley – for an afternoon of solo and collaborative choral works.
Autorikshaw compositions and performances blend South Asian, folk, jazz and pop genres. They have received multiple Juno nominations and awards in Canadian Folk Music and in 2018 were named World Music Group of the Year.
Our presentation will include classical Indian music and a new composition by Suba, "Blue Skies, Red Earth, Tall Pines", exploring the many meanings of borders and boundaries.
Get excited!
This will be a concert that may just push the boundaries of Choral music as you have known it.
